Terrific -- does exactly what you need!

This official app from STM has a great Metro map, detailed station info, bus schedules, fares, and a helpful trip planner. And its free!

The only problem with the app is that its name is STM, not Montreal Metro. So nobody can find it because who thinks to search STM? (I found a download link on the STM website.)
